Meet The Mayhem Misfits
My friend Cody purchased these in an ebay auction and then sent them to me. I fell in love with their spirit and energy. It is pretty clear they need help. Lots of help.
My friend Mary and I talked about a storyline for them. It involves them taking a road trip of sorts- and they really need a day or 2 at a salon. Mary sent me a car. They love their car.
Currently I am working on making a beauty salon and spa for them to visit. In a future post you will see the salon and spa being built.
It is my intention to put up posts as I am able with updates on the Misfits and their adventures. Once the salon is finished I will begin the make-overs on these dolls. Everything will be documented here. I hope you will join us for the fun!
Cheers, PB Ray
Oh do hurry and help them. Please.
ReplyDeleteYes, I will hurry. I want to do a photo documentary :)
DeleteWow this project seems to be interesting, I can't wait to see more! ^w^
ReplyDeleteThank You!
DeleteI am so excited to see how the story evolves and what becomes of the misfits. If anyone can transform them, you can.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Cody!!! The girls are currently in the sound studio with my all girl band rockin' out while I get the salon made.
DeleteThis is just terrible. Draculaura looks like a skinned corpse. Funny how they aren't missing any limbs after this ordeal.
ReplyDeleteThey have all their hands and arms- but someone cut off Clawdeen ears - ouch! But you will see very different dolls when I an finished with them.
DeleteThat's what I'm thinking too. As long as the bodies are complete, all the rest seems perfectly fixable.
DeleteI don't envy you having to take all that paint off, but I'm very curious to see how they turn out. I could not have them in my bedroom at night.. that's for sure. *shivers*
ReplyDeleteThe one that worries me is Draculaura- she is covered with purple nail polish. On her face and hands it is sticky. And I have no idea what is under her 'button' eye. Hoping it is just glued on.
DeleteOhh good luck! Those poor things! I can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteHaha, posted about where to find small-scale fabrics and where you shop and immediately found the post! Ooops! :D
ReplyDeleteGlad you found the post! I would like to do some different organizing here, but just have not had the time yet.
DeleteHey ! i´m blogger from finland!

Thank You!
DeleteHi. I really like the idea of repairing dolls that were damaged in a previous customization (especially after the results you got with these girls!) Where did your friend find these three? I know on Ebay, but what search terms/seller should I look for to get some of my own to fix?
ReplyDeleteFriends and I often cruise Ebay looking at Monster High dolls. Often we see them missing limbs or broken - but these girls were a special case. You might try looking for Custom and Repaint or Re Paint. These were found searching Repaint.
