An email arrived in my box asking me about my Monster High custom dolls.
"How many have you made?  What kinds were they?" and so on...

I thought, "Hmmm, I wonder how many I have made?  Should I include my teeny plushies?"
So here --  as near as I can tell -- they all are.  If I missed one, let me know :)

Off to Cali again tomorrow to clean at Mom's.  It is like a very dirty version of The Big Dig combined with an archeology dig.  We are making progress.

I am hopeful I will be able to get back to sewing and doing more customs soon.  We shall see.

Cheers, PB

  3. I love your blog, you're very talented. I've been following your blog for the last few months and I thought you could help us.

My husband and I are plannig to customize a cheap doll car for Clawdeen and other doll playsets for a Monster High custom house we're planning to build and we are completely lost. This is our very first custom project so we don't know how to begin.

I was wondering if you know anyone who customizes cars for Monster High dolls or other doll furniture. Do you know any blog or any forum we can have a look at ?

I hope my question didn't bother you.

    Greetings from Spain

    1. If I were going to do a car for Monster High, I would get a Barbie or a Bratz car and start there. You can spray paint them- and you can decorate them with whatever suits you. Cars are available at stores and on places like ebay.

You can purchase furniture you can customize from sellers on etsy. You can buy unfinished MH furniture here:

      Hope this helps.

    2. Sorry I haven't answered before. We're trying to find a cheap Barbie car at second-hand markets, just in case we mess with the paint we don't ruin a more expensive car. I found a tutorial that may help me.

I've checked out the shop you've told me and I think I'll buy some of those. I really love that spider chair.

      Tyank you very much

  6. Your Frankie and Ghoulia have such beautiful curls! Did you have to reroot them or do you have specific techniques for curling you could share? I've been stuck in boil perm mode and can't seem to get the hair to turn into something nearly as awesome as yours has!

    1. Ghoulia is a re root. Frankie has her original hair. I made tiny braids and secured them with clear bands and did a boil dip. She air dried for 2 days and when I undid the braids I used a toothpick.
