Ooo-La-La

Made For A Friend

I have a friend who shares photos of clothes made for dolls and real people that she really likes.  She is also very generous. She has sent me fabric and some rather extravagant gifts.  This week I had the time to make something for her as a "Thank You!" for all of the lovely things she shares and sends my way.

This ensemble was made with tulle, lace, silk ribbon, satin ribbon and thread.  It took an entire day to make the skirt- it is even fussier than it looks.
Well, to be fair, I am very fussy about how I make things ;)~
I wanted it to look "Monster High" but still retain the bit of "naughty" my friend enjoys.

Remember, the drawing is on April 1st. - no foolin'!  Leave a comment and get an entry for the PB Fun Pack of goodies.

For Rochelle

La Artiste Rochelle

I made this for Rochelle because I see her differently.  I made all of the clothes, the bag, the book, the pencils.  I made the rug too :) it is hand felted.

Teal colored denim jeans, worn and slightly ripped, with black suspenders.  Pink tee shirt and pink scarf.  Her own handmade sketch book and pencil.

Ready to go.  She has her tote bag filled with her things to sketch the city she loves.

I had a wonderful time making this set for her.

This set is now for sale on Dolly Dolly.

Misty and Echo

¸.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸. (¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥

Misty started out as a Draculaura.  I took photos as I went along- and- did something I have been careful not to do (until now)...
I erased her photos from the camera before I was sure they had been downloaded to the computer.
Lots of swearing going on here the other night when I realized what I had done.
So you will not get to see her transformation, but you do get to see her :)

Misty insisted that she needed a cat.  I made a new pattern, changed it up a bit and then watched as Echo came to life.  He always answers her call, thus his name.

Misty and Echo are for sale in my etsy shop:

Fabric Shopping

Our Trip To Heddy's Fabrics

"This is perfect for beautiful blouses."

"Can you imagine Lagoona in this?!"

Frankie fell in love with this fabric.  Unfortunately, we had to be more practical today.

They have a button section and trim section that will make you drool.

"We need a yard of this please."

"If you visit Las Vegas, visit Heddy's Fabrics."

Heddy's Fabrics has been in Las Vegas since the 1960's.  It is an old fashioned store with wonderful service and a large selection of quality fabrics.
We affectionately call Heddy's our Mini Mood store.  Today there were people from different stage productions picking up their fabrics and supplies for the shows they are in.
If you've seen a Cirque show in Las Vegas, you have seen Heddy's! We are wonderfully spoiled having Heddy's here.

August Prize Part 3

The last items added to the August Drawing are these miniature books for your 1:6 scale dolls -- Monster High, Barbie, Momoko, Obitsu and Volks to name a few.  These were all handmade by PB.  The interior pages are recycled magazine pages, the covers are printed on glossy stock.  These fit nicely inside the purse!

You now have 3 days left to comment on the August posts to get entries into the August Drawing.

PB is looking for suggestions for the September Drawing- if you have any, please leave them in a comment for her.

New things will be popping up in September.  Nom.  Let 'em eat cake and such.

August Prize Part 2

A box of handmade chocolates and candy for your dolls- complete with box and tissue liner!
Photos are not of actual box- but the winner will receive a box full of handmade and handpainted fun much like the one above.
PB designed the box which she prints, cuts out and glues together.
The candies are whatever she feels like making in the moment.

Remember, make a comment on an August Post and get an entry for the drawing!
Drawing will be held on September 1, 2012

Due to an episode of illness, PB fell behind- but is now feeling much better and starting to catch up at last- Yay!

Stay Tuned- I am pretty sure I saw her making some tiny books...
