On a personal note:

I am very slowly getting back to my work.  Marie has given me a lift and I am hopeful that I will begin to put some speed on now.

Ooo La La Part Two

Second Ensemble

This turned out better than expected. And after taking photos I thought... I am putting this up on the blog :)
It is already sold.  I will be making more.

The panties have an elastic waist.  The top closes in the back with a snap.  The top is flowers cut from the trim used for the skirt.  I sewed the colored flowers to the monotone giant flower.

Skirt closes with a silk ribbon.

Remember that comments get you more entries for the drawing on April 1st.

Ooo-La-La

Made For A Friend

I have a friend who shares photos of clothes made for dolls and real people that she really likes.  She is also very generous. She has sent me fabric and some rather extravagant gifts.  This week I had the time to make something for her as a "Thank You!" for all of the lovely things she shares and sends my way.

This ensemble was made with tulle, lace, silk ribbon, satin ribbon and thread.  It took an entire day to make the skirt- it is even fussier than it looks.
Well, to be fair, I am very fussy about how I make things ;)~
I wanted it to look "Monster High" but still retain the bit of "naughty" my friend enjoys.

Remember, the drawing is on April 1st. - no foolin'!  Leave a comment and get an entry for the PB Fun Pack of goodies.

New Ideas

Don't Blink!

Both outfits are already sold.  There will be more.

Working at Mom's has left me very little time to create and sew.  I did manage to make 2 outfits out of one of her never worn blouses.  She bought a lot of clothing she never wore.  Even though they were new with tags, they had a bad smell from being in her home.  I have been washing them and cutting them up, adding to my fabric stash.

Some of her things I have donated to Goodwill after cleaning- but anything that looked like it would be good for dolly clothes has been set aside for future sewing adventures.

I have been thinking about what to give away at the end of March.
It will be a bunch of things- pieces of new fabric, trims, little doll sized items.  I will take some photos next week and post what I am putting together.  I am calling it a PB Fun Pack

For Rochelle

La Artiste Rochelle

I made this for Rochelle because I see her differently.  I made all of the clothes, the bag, the book, the pencils.  I made the rug too :) it is hand felted.

Teal colored denim jeans, worn and slightly ripped, with black suspenders.  Pink tee shirt and pink scarf.  Her own handmade sketch book and pencil.

Ready to go.  She has her tote bag filled with her things to sketch the city she loves.

I had a wonderful time making this set for her.

This set is now for sale on Dolly Dolly.
